I love networking in Tucson!  I am a fairly new member of NAWBO and tonight there was an amazing business mixer at salon de nouveau.  The owners, Kathy and Paul Alexander, really put on an elegant and organized event, with food, drinks, door prizes, and service demos.  Next Friday, October 30th, they will be doing a similar event for their customers.  Visit their website and sign up for their newsletter to receive more info about this and other great offerings!    Enjoy!

So, What's the story behind Swarovski Crystals?  Well, they're named after a famous Austrian man, Daniel Swarovski.  Want to read more?

October 2009

I am so excited to have my jewelry available for sale at The Blue Willow in Tucson that I want to share the good news with everyone.  What a wonderful gift shop they have, with such a wide variety of cards, magnets, jewelry, and random gifts for kids and adults.  Be sure to check it out soon!

Today I am headed to the Grant Inn hotel just west of I-10 to shop from my favorite findings vendor, Kamal Trading (www.kamaltrading.com).  They are a family-owned business from Anaheim, CA.  I met them a year ago and they are unsurpassed in their quality and pricing of materials.  I get all my metal findings from them and highly recommend them for wire, chain, earrings, etc.  I can't wait so see them today!

It's hard to believe that the end of August is here!  Before we know it, a mini gem show will be here.  That's right--September 11-13th, you will find many of the same great vendors that come in January at a few key places:  Grant Inn (at I-10), The Holidome (on south Palo Verde), and the TCC.  If you're not already getting my email newsletter, better sign up from my Contact page so you can receive some of my tips as the dates near!
